An Oil Base Mud Thinner ( OBM Mud Thinner ) is an additive used in Oil Base Mud Systems to reduce the viscosity and the thickening Properties of the Drilling Fluids. it is used when the OBM becomes too thick and viscous making it difficult to pump or Circulate Effectively 

The Purpose of the Oil Base Mud Thinner is to maintain the desired Rheological properties and the Flow Characteristics of the OBM . It Helps to Optimize the Drilling Fluids Performance by improving its ability to transport the Drilling cuttings to the surface and reduce the risks of Stuck Pipe and Inadequate Hole cleaning .

GLO OBM THIN LQ 1000 manufactured by GDFCL is a High Performance  Oil Base Mud Thinner and compatible with both Diesel and Base Oils and effectively used and fully compatible with the range of Oil Base Mud Additives manufactured by GDFCL .It reduces the Viscosity and the gel Strength of the OBM mud without the need for dilution or changing the Oil-to-water ratio
