KCL-SUBSTITUTE is a High performance Liquid Substitute for Potassium Chloride (KCL 96%) used as a shale Stabilizer and Shale Inhibitor and Clay Hydration Suppressant and a Source of Potassium ions for Oil Drilling Applications. It is effectively used as a Drilling Fluid for Oil Well Drilling and Completion Fluids when drilling Hydro-sensitive Clays and Shales. It provides Inhibition by the presence of Amines and Potassium ions. Nontoxic and Environmentally Friendly Drilling Fluid with no chloride Discharge.  

Application:

KCL-FREE LQ 1000 provides a most Cost effective, environmentally friendly alternate for Potassium Chloride KCL used for Oil Drilling applications. Provides excellent shale inhibition and wellbore stability. It is an Efficient Clay Hydration Suppressant and Wellbore Stabilizer and can be added to the system directly without adverse effects on viscosity and filtration properties.it can be used with water base Mud Systems, brines, acids and drilling fluids. In Addition to well bore strengthening, it also provides Lubricity and Increases ROP.

KCl-FREE LQ 1000 is successfully used as a replacement for Kcl Base Mud Systems and is a High Performance Additive. Typically 1-2 Gallons/1000 Gallons of water can be used as a Complete replacement for KCL 2% Systems

KCl-FREE LQ 1000 is packed in 55Gal Drum/208Ltr Barrels or Supplied in 1000 Liter Totes . Private Labeling and customized packaging and labeling is also available on request
