Description:
It is a polymer of high molelcular weight and
high viscosity grade. It is a long chain polymer.
Application:
It is a viscosifier and fluid loss control agent
and is used in all water based muds ranging from
fresh water to saturated salt water.
COMMON NAME - POLYANIONIC CELLULOSE
(PAC-RG)
Advantages:
- It is readily dispersible in all water based
muds.
- It provides viscosity and controls fluid loss.
- It can be used to produce ultra low solid
drilling muds for better rate of drilling.
