Description:
It is a long chain colloid made low viscosity
grade.
Application:
It is used as fluid loss reducer and suspending
agent in all fresh water mud systems. The effectiveness
is greatly reduced in muds that contain high salt
concentration (approx.5000 ppm to saturation).

CELLULOSE (CMC)
Advantages:
- It is not subjected to bacterial fermentation.
- May be used at any alkaline PH value.
- Controls fluid loss.
